DIY centritavola glitterati *Upcycled Glitter Vase DIY*

Sono incappata in un tutorial di vasetti glitterati su A Bubbly life, e il mio radar per le cose funky e meravigliose si è acceso in tempo 0.

Sono facili da fare e hanno una grande resa, l'unico inconveniente è che poi vi ritroverete ricoperte di glitter dalla testa ai piedi, e probabilmente lo sarà anche la vostra casa. Ma d'altra parte, come dice la saggissima (!!!) Paris Hilton: "Some girls are just born with glitter in their veins", e quindi, visto che abbiamo già il glitter nelle vene tanto vale averne un po' appiccicato sulle mani!

Comunque, le uniche cose di cui avete bisogno sono: 

- pennello

- colla

- glitter

- lattine di latta

Istruzioni:

- ricoprire con molta colla la lattina

- spargere il glitter

Il gioco è fatto!

They are easy to DIY, the only drawback is that then you will end up covered in glitter from head to toe, and probably you home too will be covered . But, like the super wise (!!!) Paris Hilton says: "Some girls are just born with glitter in their veins", and so, as we already have the glitter in their veins let's have it on our hands too!

However, the only things you need are:

- brush

- glue

- glitter

- Tin cans

instructions:

- Fill the can with a lot of glue

- Shed glitter

You're done!

Inspiration board #11: glitter + aqua + fuchsia wedding

Buongiorno a tutti!

Questi giorni ancora caldi mi hanno dato l'ispirazione per creare un moodboard molto estivo (la verità è che cerco di allontanare il fatto che tra un po' dovrò coprirmi con strati di coperte per non avere freddo facendo finta che sia nuovamente in arrivo l'estate). Ma passiamo oltre! 

L'inspiration board di oggi ha una palette che non passa decisamente inosservata: glitter + turchese + fucsia. Ehy aspettate a storcere il naso! Il risultato è molto più raffinato di quello che si potrebbe pensare, oltre che poco scontato. Insomma, perché scegliere un solo colore come fil rouge del matrimonio, quando se ne possono mixare tre?

These hot days gave me the inspiration to create a very summery moldboard (the truth is that I'm trying to ignore the fact that winter is coming!). But let's move on! :)

Today's inspiration board has a palette which is really impressive: glitter + aqua + fuchsia. Hey wait to turn up their nose! The result is much more refined than what you might think, as well as not obvious at all. I mean, why choosing just one color as leitmotif of the wedding, when she can mix three of them?

Matrimoni a tema: glitter!- Themed Wedding: glitter!

E chi l'ha detto che il glitter va bene solo in discoteca?

Se accostato nella maniera giusta, può essere perfetto anche per un matrimonio. Un matrimonio di quelli molto glamour, da vera diva. Certo, bisogna essere un po' audaci, ma noi ci chiamiamo "Funky Wedding" e quindi lo siamo!

Qui sotto ho realizzato un'inspiration board a tema glitter dorato (eh si, perché il glitter può essere declinato in diversi colori, qui ho scelto il dorato ma ne arriveranno anche altre con diverse nuances!!!). Può essere accostato a diversi colori, ma quello dorato in particolare lo trovo molto raffinato accostato al verde, al fucsia e al menta.

Tra l'altro il glitter può dare bellissimi spunti per fare DIY- presto ne parleremo! Intanto godiamoci questa pioggia di brillantini!

If you mix it in the right way, it can be perfect for a wedding. A very glamorous wedding, for a bride who wants to feel like a real diva. Of course, you have to be a little bold, but you know, the name of my blog is "Funky Wedding" and for this reason we can definitely dare to be bold!

I made an inspiration board inspired by glitter gold (yes, glitter can be declined in several colors, here I chose the gold but it will also make other inspiration boards with several other shades!). Gold glitter can be mixed with different colors, but I think that gold is very elegant when mixed with green, fuchsia and mint.
