DIY centritavola glitterati *Upcycled Glitter Vase DIY*

Sono incappata in un tutorial di vasetti glitterati su A Bubbly life, e il mio radar per le cose funky e meravigliose si è acceso in tempo 0.

Sono facili da fare e hanno una grande resa, l'unico inconveniente è che poi vi ritroverete ricoperte di glitter dalla testa ai piedi, e probabilmente lo sarà anche la vostra casa. Ma d'altra parte, come dice la saggissima (!!!) Paris Hilton: "Some girls are just born with glitter in their veins", e quindi, visto che abbiamo già il glitter nelle vene tanto vale averne un po' appiccicato sulle mani!

Comunque, le uniche cose di cui avete bisogno sono: 

- pennello

- colla

- glitter

- lattine di latta

Istruzioni:

- ricoprire con molta colla la lattina

- spargere il glitter

Il gioco è fatto!

They are easy to DIY, the only drawback is that then you will end up covered in glitter from head to toe, and probably you home too will be covered . But, like the super wise (!!!) Paris Hilton says: "Some girls are just born with glitter in their veins", and so, as we already have the glitter in their veins let's have it on our hands too!

However, the only things you need are:

- brush

- glue

- glitter

- Tin cans

instructions:

- Fill the can with a lot of glue

- Shed glitter

You're done!

DIY ideas: backdrop fatto con i pirottini dei cupcakes. * Backing cups backdrop*

Oggi vi posto un tutorial per un DIY che ho trovato nel blog finlandese Hey Look...idea geniale! Realizzare un backdrop con i pirottini dei cupcakes! E voi mi direte: ma che me ne faccio io di un backdrop fatto di pirottini di cupcakes? Beh, potrete utilizzarlo come sfondo per un photo booth (ovvero un set allestito per scattare delle foto divertenti agli invitati durante al matrimonio), o come sfondo per un cosiddetto desserts table (il tavolo dei dolci), oppure semplicemente come decorazione per il vostro ricevimento. Personalmente la trovo un'idea facile ed economica da realizzare, oltre che di grande effetto. Questo poi è divertentissimo perché sono stati usati dei pirottini lucidi e dai colori molto forti...ma se volete ottenere un effetto più soft basta procurarseli di colore pastello.

Materiale da procurarsi:

- pirottini (mi pare ovvio...)

- colla

- pannello sul quale incollare i pirottini

 Gli unici step che dovrete seguire saranno piegare a metà i pirottini,  e incollarli seguendo un certo ordine al pannello.

Se invece volete semplicemente fare una ghirlanda, potete piegarli a metà e incollare la parte interna a un filo. E il gioco è fatto!

Sono uno dei trend per la sposa 2013. Di cosa parlo? Delle coroncine di fiori freschi per la sposa!

Io non posso fare a meno di pinnarle come una pazza scatenata. Lo confesso, mi sono innamorata.
Le abbiamo viste sulle passerelle della collezione autunno-inverno 2013/2014 della stilista statunitense Claire Pettibone, portabandiera di uno stile morbido e vintage dall'allure bohémien.

Cioè, ditemelo voi: non sono semplicemente adorabili?

Idee per un matrimonio anticonvenzionale: i palloncini! *Wedding Balloons*

Buongiorno a tutti!

Oggi parliamo di palloncini ai matrimoni. Trovo che i palloncini ai matrimoni siano davvero divertenti e poco convenzionali, se usati nella maniera giusta. Mi spiego: capita di vedere dei matrimoni in cui i palloncini vengono usati in maniera massiccia. E a volte si cade nel troppo, e la sensazione che si ha è quella della festa di paese, e il palloncino diventa quasi "cheap".

Ecco, io preferisco quando i palloncini vengono declinati in maniera più originale.

Ad esempio, esistono dei maxi palloncini dalla forma perfettamente sferica che hanno una resa davvero spettacolare, e a cui vengono aggiunte delle ghirlande e delle frange. Negli Stati Uniti vengono chiamati Geronimo Balloons, che in realtà è il nome dell'azienda che li produce...purtroppo si possono acquistare solo negli USA, ma penso che cercando nei negozi che vendono articoli per feste si possano trovare, e poi basta aggiungere delle ghirlande e il gioco è fatto!

Today i'm gonna talk about wedding balloons. I think that balloons at weddings can be really fun and unconventional, if you use them the right way. I mean, it happens to see marriages in which the balloons are used massively. And sometimes the feeling that you have is that the balloon become almost "cheap".
Behold, I prefer when the balloons are declined in a more original ways.
For example, there are giant round balloons which have a perfectly spherical shape that look spectacular, and to which are added garlands and fringes. In the United States they are called Geronimo Balloons, which is actually the name of the company that produces them ... unfortunately you can buy them only in the U.S., but I think that if you search for them in stores that sell party items you can find them, and then you just have to add garlands and fringes and you're done!

*DIY* Portacoriandoli fluo-Confetti Throwers

Ho trovato un'idea molto carina per sostituire il classico (e un po' fastidioso) lancio del riso agli sposi dopo la cerimonia.

Insomma, a me è capitato di vedere spose accecate da lanci selvaggi di riso (saranno le amiche single invidiose?) e sposi che sputacchiano chicchi di riso a profusione (saranno gli amici particolarmente spiritosi?). Esistono delle valide alternative al riso per evitare il linciaggio dei novelli sposi: avete mai pensato a sostituirlo con dei coriandoli?

Personalmente la trovo un'idea molto più originale e simpatica, e oltretutto facile da fare.

Basta procurarsi dei tubicini di plastica trasparente e dei coriandoli. Qui in foto sono stati utilizzati dei coriandoli flou e dorati: se non li trovate basta acquistare dei fogli di carta colorata e tagliarli in pezzetti molto piccoli. I tubicini invece penso sia possibile trovarli in una qualsiasi cartoleria un po' fornita, oppure potete acquistarli online su questo sito.

L'effetto è allegro e divertente, e inoltre niente occhi neri per gli sposi!

I found a very nice idea to replace the classic (and a bit annoying) launch of rice to the newlyweds after the ceremony.

I mean, I've seen brides blinded by the wild launch of rise (by single and envious girlfriends?) and grooms spitting grains of rice in abundance (launched by particularly witty friends?). There are alternatives to the rice to prevent the lynching of newlyweds: have you ever thought of replacing it with confetti?

Personally, I find it a much more original and fun idea, plus it's very easy to do.
You just need plastic tubes and confetti. Here in the picture they used fluo and gold confetti: if you don't find them just buy some sheets of tissue colored paper and cut them into very small pieces. I think it is possible to find the tubes in any big stationery, or you can buy them online here.

The effect is playful and fun!

*DIY* Nastri di tessuti colorato - Wedding Streamers

Oggi inauguriamo la categoria dei Wedding DIY.  Il termine DIY sta per Do It Yourself, ossia faidate.

Si tratta di semplici idee da realizzare manualmente, che oltre ad essere esteticamente molto simpatiche, sono anche decisamente low cost. 

*ANNUNCIO* Da oggi i post saranno sia in italiano che in inglese. Essendo internet un veicolo potentissimo e internazionale, penso che poter comunicare con tutti sia una cosa indispensabile.

Comunque, torniamo ai nostri DIY. Le uniche cosa di cui bisogna armarsi sono: un po' (giusto il necessario) di manualità, tanta voglia di fare, e i giusti "ingredienti".

Oggi parleremo dei nastri di tessuto colorato.

Si tratta di lunghe strisce di tessuto di diversi colori che accostate insieme danno davvero un effetto allegro e fresco. Io le trovo adorabili, e oltretutto facilissime da fare. Le uniche cose da fare sono procurarsi sono del tessuto (il raso ha una resa bellissima) e tagliarle, anche senza fare particolare attenzione a farlo troppo minuziosamente.

Today I'm going to talk about wedding streamers.

Wedding streamers are long strips of fabric of different colors that put together are really cheerful and nice. I think they are adorable, plus they are very easy to do. The only things to do are buying the fabric (satin has a beautiful effect) and then cutting it, even without paying special attention to doing it too carefully.
