Il trucco per la sposa anni '50/rockabilly *1950s bridal makeup*

Oggi parliamo di un argomento molto caro alle spose vintage: il make up per una sposa anni '50 / rockabilly. 

Ho deciso di partire da questi anni nel parlare del make up sposa perché creando abiti ispirati agli anni '50, mi sembrava il minimo! :) Trovo questo tipo di trucco molto affascinante e glamorous: gli anni '50 sono gli anni delle donne burrose (w le forme!) e molto femminili, felici di sfoggiare la propria sensualità dopo gli stenti (e la magrezza) della guerra. Un'inno alla salute e alla bellezza procace delle donne, insomma!

Il trucco anni '50 vede come protagonista le labbra, che sono rosse e carnose, mentre per gli occhi l'eye-liner la fa da padrone con una linea sottile che si allarga verso la fine dell'occhio e che insieme alle ciglia finte dà allo sguardo un effetto "gatta" molto chic e sensuale. La pelle è chiara e le guance sono rosa e levigate, come quelle di una bambola.

Nonostante sia molto appariscente, il make up anni '50 non è assolutamente volgare, per cui può essere adatto anche a una sposa.
Vi posto delle immagini di make up anni '50 e anche di spose anni '50, per rendere bene l'idea di un make up da sposa alternativo, ma non per questo inadatto all'occasione (sia che il matrimonio si svolga in comune, sia che si svolga in chiesa)! Ho trovato inoltre su youtube un tutorial abbastanza facile da seguire (e se lo dico io, che con il trucco non sono un asso ahimè, potete fidarvi).  Ecco le ispirazioni.


Today I'm gonna talk about a subject which is very dear to vintage brides: the make up for a 50s / rockabilly bride.
I decided to start from 1950s because creating wedding dresses inspired by the 50s, it seemed to be the most obvious choice! :) I think that this kind of makeup is very charming and glamorous: the 50s were the years of voluptuous and very feminine women, who were happy to show off their sexiness after the hardships (and thinness) of the war.
The stars of a 50s make up are lips, which are red and fleshy, while for the eyes eyeliner is the master with a thin line that widens at the end of the eye and along with false eyelashes gives to the look  a "cat" effect. The skin is clear and cheeks are pink and smooth, like those of a doll.
Despite being very flashy, 50s makeup is definitely not vulgar, and it can be also suitable for a bride.
I'll post some pictures of 50s make up and even of 50s brides, and also a tutorial that I found on youtube and that is fairly easy to follow. Here are the inspirations.

Vintage tea party. Grazie a tutti!

Ieri c'è stato nel mio atelier il Vintage Tea Party del quale vi ho parlato qualche giorno fa: è andato alla grande!!!! :)

Ci tengo a ringraziare la squadra di giovani donne che mi ha accompagnata: le fotografe di Ennefoto che hanno immortalato ogni attimo instancabilmente, le Wedding Planner di Wedding Road che hanno allestito e tenuto il workshop di trucco e acconciature vintage, e Tamara, la pasticcera di Bake Therapy che ha preparato dei dolci buonissimi (testati e super approvati, alla faccia della dieta). Una squadra tutta rosa, tutta giovane e con l'idea di creare un evento legato a un matrimonio non solo vintage, ma proprio fuori dai canoni tradizionali (siamo pazze and we know it).

Ringrazio poi tutte le ragazze che ci sono venute a trovare...siete state tante e molto entusiaste,e questo ci ha rese felici! Speriamo di avervi offerto un'esperienza diversa dal solito!

E poi...è successa una cosa ME-RA-VI-GLIO-SA! Una richiesta di matrimonio in diretta, con tanto di inginocchiamento e anello!!! Noi eravamo complici e quindi sapevamo che sarebbe successo...devo dire però che vederlo succedere, assistere a  un ragazzo che si inginocchia e chiede la mano non è una cosa che succede tutti giorni, e la lacrimuccia ci è comunque scappata!!! Ahhh siamo proprio delle romanticone!!!

Yesterday there was in my showroom the Vintage Tea Party and it was great!! :)

I want to thank the team of young women who organized it with me: Ennefoto, the photographers who immortalized tirelessly every moment, Wedding Road, the wedding planners who have set up and held the workshop of vintage makeup and hairstyles, and Tamara, the Bake Therapy pastry chef who cooked delicious desserts (tested and super approved, in spite of the diet). An all pink and young team,  who wanted to create an event related to the vintage and unconventional wedding  (we're crazy and we know it).

I thank all the girls who have come...you have been so enthusiastic, and that made us happy! We hope to have offered you a different experience from the usual!

And then...something AMAZING happened! A live wedding proposal, with kneeling and wedding ring! We were accomplices and so we knew it would happen...I must say, however, that it was very romantic and touching!

Ok ragazze, poi non ditemi che non vi avevo avvisate.

Non potete assolutamente perdere quello che sarà l'evento più fashion-cool-glamorous dell'anno, e che si terrà nientemeno che nel mio atelier: un vintage tea party, nel quale si terrà un workshop di trucco e parrucco vintage.

Avete sempre sognato di imparare a truccarvi come delle super glamorous dive anni '50? I victory rolls sono il look che desiderate avere per il vostro matrimonio? Allora questo è l'evento che fa per voi!

Le wedding planner ed esperte di trucco vintage Wedding Roads terranno infatti un workshop di trucco e acconciature vintage per spose, il tutto accompagnato da un meraviglioso desserts table organizzato da Bake Therapy e dagli scatti delle fotografe di Ennefoto. E noi naturalmente saremo a disposizione per tutti i consigli fashion e di moda da sposa che desiderate!

L'appuntamento è per domenica 19 maggio alle ore 15.30 nel mio atelier,  a Busto Arsizo (VA) in largo san Giuseppe 3/D.
