La sposa con i capelli corti *Brides with short hair*

bride with short hair

You have to know that when this post will come out, I will be at the hairdresser to shorten the two inches of hair that I have attached to my head. And this gave me the inspiration to write what I'm writing.
I don't know what kind of relationship you have with your hair. I've always had a sort of love / hate relationship with my hair. The result of this relationship is that in my life I went several times since long hair / long hair to a length of 1 inch, all in the space of a morning. Yes, I have always been very, very drastic. I've always loved long hair, but I admit that the convenience of short hair keeps tempting me every few years, and in my opinion it also gives me enough (although after the last cut there have been several people who have told me that the hair short makes me look like a little man-I greet all those who said that I look like a little man! -). So at the moment I am part of the "Women who proudly wear the hair short" party.
So, let's talk about brides with short hair! I think the femininity of a woman is not given by long hair (see, you people who said that I like like a little man??? :)), but by movements, by language, by manners. Can you imagine a girl with very long and beautiful hair, but speaking using a disproportionate amount of profanity?? No, for me femininity is another thing.
So, brides with short hair, it's just that I'm talking to you! Know that you are not alone.
On the day of your wedding you can be beautiful and feminine with super short hairstyle, and who says that with short hair you have little ability to customize, has no idea what he is talking about!
With short hair you can play with accessories: veils, brooches, headbands, fabric flowers and crowns of fresh flowers. But even with the cutting and the styling: a pixie cut for a more casual bride, a "ridge" for a rock bride, finger waves for a vintage bride. In short, the range is wide, just have fun!

I think that it's impossible to say that these brides are less charming than brides with long hair!!! :)

La sposa col cappello *Bridal millinery*

Bridal millinery

I was 16 when I found myself to attend a wedding procession in England.
And then I saw them.
Hats.
Hundreds of hats.
Hundreds of elegant English ladies who wore hundreds of elegant hats, a mix of colors and class.
And then, the bride. She also wore an hat.
In that moment I had two sudden thoughts: the first was an incredible and sudden desire to be the guest of an english wedding at least once in my life, the second one was the instant decision to wear an hat during the most important moments of my life. So it happened that during my second trip to London (yes, the city of destiny!) I bought a red little bowler hat in Camden Town which I assume to love very much. And also, during my graduation, I wore a pink feather clip which attracted me more than a glance (oh come on, I was  a  Fashion Design graduate, I would say that I could dare!).
I selected a variety of wedding hats that are AMAZING. There are veils, feathers, or even wide-brimmed felt hats and large fabric flowers! The only thing you need to wear them is a healthy dose of humor british!
Most of them are obviously produced in England, where the tradition of the mad hatters has always been very strong, but many of them can also be purchased online. So three cheers for brides with hats!

TUTORIAL Acconciature da sposa: onde vintage * Bridal hairstyles: simple vintage waves*

Today, a post about a bridal vintage hairstyle.
I found on the site The Beauty Department a photographic tutorial which explains very clearly how to do a vintage inspired bridal hairstyle.
It seems that it takes less than 30 minutes to do it. I say "It seems" because I have about 1 inch of hair, so for me it is a bit difficult to prove it. But if you can, try this! Whether you are a bride, whether you are not! The effect is very sophisticated, perfect for an "Old Hollywood" wedding style.
If you want to follow the description step-by-step, you can find it by clicking here.
